Our Story

David and Vivian Burbano were teenagers when they met in Bogota, Colombia back in 1994. Vivian’s family were invited to sing at a church where David was the pianist; their love of music brought them together but only for a short while. Vivian’s family moved to the US in 1995. Through the years David and Vivian continue their music education, both major in music and performance. Fast forward to 2009 when they found each other via Facebook, they reconnected and David decided to move to the US. They married shortly after. They still had the same passion for music and started working together in different music schools. As time passed they gained years of teaching and performance experience. They decided to open their own music school and designed the teaching plans they wanted to implement.

BCC Music Houston open its doors in 2015 at Bethany Christian Church, with the goal to serve families and those wanting to expand their music knowledge. Having a family of their own and understanding the frustration that many parents and students face when trying to find the right music school, has help them knit lessons, and cater to the students style of music. At BCC we want for everyone to feel like they are in good hands; rest assure that we are and will continue to nurture your love, curiosity and knowledge for music. We will walk you through and make all lessons engaging and easy to understand; exceeding your expectations is what we aim to do.
